Get Back On Your Horse

Analog Sunday is not easy. Week in, week out, season in, season out, life in, life out. Our world has a very intentional and sneaky way of taking over our lives, and most certainly our time.

Our time is the most precious resource we have, and we can choose how we spend it.

There's that age-old saying, "Get back on your horse and keep going." It's truly a saying for the ages. We have good weeks and bad ones, our lives bubble over with the stresses and responsibilities of each day, they build up, and eventually they spill over.

Analog Sunday is a rhythm of life, and life is imperfect.

The important part is to get back on your horse and keep going, no matter what. Because when you choose to spend that time intentionally, when you unplug and focus back on those around you, or even yourself, life begins to restore.

If you've had a busy season and maybe things feel a little out of harmony, put down the device you're reading this on.

Stop. Cease the striving.

Enjoy that walk in the park, that book in the sunlight, that meal made from scratch, or that game on the table.

Just do it.

For life!

Food For Thought

What horse did you fall off recently?

You do not need a digital detox.

You just need a day (a week).

Get a life,

Analog Sunday

The Rhythm

Every Analog Sunday is built around five simple practices:

Eat something made with care.
Play without keeping score.
Make something with your hands.
Read something that expands your mind.
Rest without feeling guilty.
