Start your first Analog Sunday
We are always connected, but rarely present. The day fills up and somehow… there’s just noise. we move fast, we consume more, and we connect less.
Step 1: Join the Rhythm
This is where it starts. Each week, Analog Weekly lands in your inbox, a short read with real reasons to unplug and simple ideas to get you there. Then we text you. Not more noise, just a well-timed nudge right when it matters. One sets the direction, the other keeps you moving. This isn’t more content, it’s a way back to real life.

Step 2: Start Small
Don’t try to do the whole day yet, start with a few hours. Pick a window this week, turn your phone off, and step away. Go for a walk, sit outside, or eat a meal without screens. That’s enough. No perfect plan, no pressure to get it right. Just begin.
Step 3: Build Your Rhythm
As you keep going, you’ll start to find your rhythm. This isn’t about filling your time, it’s about where your attention goes. Most days include some version of Rest, Read, Eat, Play, or Make. These are our 5 Tenets. They are not rules, they are anchors. If one or two show up, you’re doing it right.
Step 3: Build Your Rhythm

REST
Stop. Not to escape, not to numb out, just to repair.
Try this: take a nap, sit outside, pray, reflect, or go to bed early.
READ
Choose depth instead of noise.
Try this: read one chapter, a poem, scripture, an essay, or read aloud to someone else.
EAT
Slow down around food.
Try this: cook something from scratch, share a meal, sit at the table and let the conversation linger.
PLAY
Do something joyful with no productivity attached.
Try this: play cards, throw a ball, explore outside, start a board game, or get a little loud.
MAKE
Create with your hands, not for an audience.
Try this: write, draw, build, fix something, or make something that never gets posted.
Step 4: Come Back Next Week
You won’t do it perfectly. Some weeks will click, some won’t. You’ll get distracted, maybe bored, and that’s part of it. This isn’t a performance, it’s a practice. If you miss a week, or two, it’s still there. Sunday is always just a few days away. Come back next week, try something new, or do the same thing again. This is how it builds, week by week.
Step 5: Join the Living
You are not behind, you are just distracted, like the rest of us. This is your invitation back to your life, to what’s right in front of you. You don’t need permission, but here it is anyway: take Analog Sunday and come back to it, week after week. Your life is still here and it’s yours, whenever you want it.
